Bellevue State Banks $10,000 Community Commitment

We are living through unprecedented and challenging times. While COVID-19 has caused us to maintain our social distance, it's critical for us all to stay emotionally connected and focus on what matters most – people and our community. As part of our response as your Locally Owned Community Bank, we are committed to providing assistance to our community in any way we can. Bellevue State Bank has committed $10,000 in assistance through multiple avenues. We realize it doesn't fill every need that is out there during these times but hope it can provide some relief to our community.

Our small business community has been hit extremely hard during these times. To assist we are creating a week long “Support Small Business Initiative”. This includes businesses in Bellevue, Springbrook, LaMotte, and St. Donatus since in one way or another we are all connected and one community. From April 10th through April 17th we ask all small businesses in these communities to keep track of the number of sales transactions (transaction’s not dollar amount) they run. Businesses, please report these back to the bank prior to April 22nd and we will contribute $5 per transaction back to our small business community in a fund up to $7000. The businesses can use these funds as they wish from helping cover expenses, distributing to employees, or towards gift cards that they can give back out to the community. Businesses, if you would like to participate please send an email to behlinger@bellevuestatebank.com so that we can get the funds distributed to you.

We realize that there are many community members that would like to support our small businesses but due to recent events they are experiencing a loss of income. BSB is providing $2000 in Bellevue Chamber Gift Certificates that will be distributed through all 3 church’s in town as well as both Marquette Catholic and Bellevue Community Schools. If you or you know of someone that would like to “order out” for a night from a local restaurant or purchase a product from our many retailers please reach out to the above sites.

Lastly we have heard that the Community Cupboard Program has been a source many residents have been utilizing for food options and other necessities. We are distributing $1000 to the program to make sure that the Cupboards stay well stocked for those in need the most. These are located outside of the Presbyterian Church, corner of 2nd and State, and near Felderman Trailer Park.

Together our community will get through these times and come back stronger than ever.
